دور الرئيس
تنتخب الجمعية العامة رئيس المنظمة لأربع سنوات. وعملا بالقانون الأساسي للإنتربول، يضطلع الرئيس بالمهام التالية:
- يترأس دورات الجمعية العامة واللجنة التنفيذية ويدير مناقشاتهما؛
- يتحقق من انسجام أعمال المنظمة مع قرارات الجمعية العامة واللجنة التنفيذية؛
- يبقى، قدر الإمكان، على اتصال دائم ومباشر بالأمين العام للمنظمة.
يشغل الرئيس وظيفته بدوام جزئي وبدون أجر، فهو يحتفظ بمنصبه بدوام كامل في إدارته الوطنية.
سيرة لوكاس فيليب
أما الرئيس الحالي للإنتربول فهو لوكاس فيليبي من فرنسا. وانتخب السيد فيليب في الجمعية العامة ٩٣ في المغرب في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ٢٠٢٥ وسيكون نموذجا محترفا لعام ٢٠٢٩.
