Global police leaders gather in Hong Kong, China for the annual General Assembly
The 94th session of the INTERPOL General Assembly takes place from 30 November – 3 December 2026 in Hong Kong, China.
The General Assembly is INTERPOL's supreme governing body and comprises delegates appointed by the governments of our 196 member countries.
It meets once a year and takes all the major decisions affecting general policy, the resources needed for international cooperation, working methods and finances. These decisions are in the form of resolutions.
Agenda
In addition to approving the Organization’s programme of activities, strategic framework and budget, the General Assembly will address a range of issues including:
- Identifying and disrupting transnational organized crime
- Development of new policing capabilities
- Fugitive investigations
- The Silver Notice pilot project
- Safeguarding child victims of crime
- AI-enabled crime and terrorism
