Information, communications and technology (ICT) law projects

We ensure the Organization’s legal framework keeps pace with ongoing technological developments.

INTERPOL participates in several projects related to information, communications and technology law (ICT law), ranging from electronic evidence and the Darknet to voice recognition tools.

Our role is to ensure that the needs of law enforcement are considered and integrated in the solutions, and that INTERPOL’s rules and regulations reflect the technological changes in global law enforcement.

Through these projects, we also maintain dialogue with partners in academia, the private sector, civil society, law enforcement and other Organizations.

Ongoing projects:

ROXANNE
