INTERPOL participates in several projects related to information, communications and technology law (ICT law), ranging from electronic evidence and the Darknet to voice recognition tools.
Our role is to ensure that the needs of law enforcement are considered and integrated in the solutions, and that INTERPOL’s rules and regulations reflect the technological changes in global law enforcement.
Through these projects, we also maintain dialogue with partners in academia, the private sector, civil society, law enforcement and other Organizations.

EVIDENCE2e-CODEX
We are participating in this research project on exchanging digital evidence within the European Union over e-CODEX in the framework of European Investigative Order and mutual legal assistance procedures.
TITANIUM:
This project is researching and developing tools for investigating virtual currency transactions in underground markets.
