Together with our colleagues around the world, we see how crimes such as human trafficking, sexual exploitation, harassment and online abuse target the most vulnerable people.

For criminals, the suffering they cause doesn’t matter. They constantly find new ways to exploit others, especially people who have been displaced, are living in conflict or poverty, or are simply trying to build a better life.

This edition of INTERPOL Spotlight shows how we, and the global law enforcement community, work to protect human dignity.

It highlights how INTERPOL is leading efforts against scam centres that force trafficking victims into online fraud, how we innovate to rescue children from online sexual abuse and bring offenders to justice, and how we work with the aid sector to stop gender-based violence and sexual exploitation in fragile settings such as refugee camps and poor communities.

These crimes require a united response. At INTERPOL, we are committed to strengthening international cooperation and supporting investigations to keep people safe from exploitation and harm.

Through partnership and compassion, we can help build a world where people can live free from fear and abuse.
