The 94th session of the INTERPOL General Assembly will be held from 30 November to 3 December 2026 in Hong Kong, China. This annual event will bring together chiefs of police and senior law enforcement officials from the Organization’s 196 member countries to address global security challenges and foster international police cooperation.
Media Access
The opening and closing ceremonies will be accessible to accredited media representatives.
The plenary sessions and official proceedings of the General Assembly will not be accessible to the media, however interviews with delegation representatives and INTERPOL officials may be granted upon request.
Information about the date, location and time of official press briefings shall be communicated to accredited media in due course.
Accreditation
Media representatives wishing to cover this event should apply for accreditation no later than 30 October 2026 by sending the completed application form and required documentation to GA2026@police.gov.hk.
Access shall be granted exclusively to accredited journalists for the opening ceremony, closing ceremony and any official media briefings. There will be a dedicated on-site working space for accredited media throughout the General Assembly.
All accredited media representatives shall be required to present a valid identity document together with press credentials or an official letter of assignment at the media registration desk upon arrival in order to collect their badges.
Journalists who require a visa to travel to Hong Kong, China are responsible for applying through the usual channels.
