MOSCOW, Russia – A man wanted for assaulting police officers has been arrested in Germany and extradited to Russia as a result of international police cooperation via INTERPOL.
The 30-year-old Russian national allegedly attacked police officers in a Zheleznogorsk shopping centre three years earlier whilst attempting to steal goods.
He then fled the country but police authorities located him in Germany as a result of cooperation between the Russian and German INTERPOL National Central Bureaus.
