The case
On the afternoon of Saturday 4 August 2018, a woman was found hanging in a poultry shed attached to a farmhouse located in the Olivars neighbourhood of Sant Julià de Ramis, in the province of Gerona in Spain.
The woman was not carrying identity papers. Three people lived in the farmhouse, but none of them knew her or had ever seen her before. No one in the area knew who the woman was, and no vehicle was located in the vicinity.
