A comprehensive resource centre
The INTERPOL Global Learning Centre (IGLC) provides access to a comprehensive range of online e-learning modules and documents. The platform offers more than 60 different courses with an increasingly interactive component.
It is open to authorized users from within the international law enforcement community and partners; there are currently 17,000 registered users.
The goal of the IGLC is to:
- Encourage the interactive sharing of knowledge and best practices between INTERPOL member countries;
- Increase awareness of INTERPOL’s services and databases within the law enforcement community;
- Provide the international law enforcement community with a secure platform to share their expertise.
Hard and soft skills
E-learning is an invaluable complement to traditional training methods, helping build investigative and enforcement capabilities across borders, cultures and time zones. Our platform includes courses related to our three global crime programmes – counter-terrorism, cybercrime and organized and emerging crime – as well as our tools and services.
There are also modules on soft skills, such as stress management, strategic planning and public speaking.
IGLC also contains an online library of resources with a wealth of links to reports, documents and websites of law enforcement organizations. This is complemented by resources from other relevant bodies such as universities, police colleges, academies and training institutions.
