The case
On 28 March 2007, the body of a woman was found at the 1 km mark on the M-127 road in the town of El Berrueco, north of Madrid. The body was found covered with a sheet and showed no signs of violence.
The victim had six latex capsules inside her body, as well as one ruptured latex capsule, leading police to suspect that she was a “mule” transporting drugs.
Characteristics
Her physical features were South American, and it is assumed that she arrived in Spain shortly before her death.
