The 5th Europol-INTERPOL Cybercrime Conference will be held at Europol’s headquarters in The Hague. Under the theme“Actively united for a safer cyber space”, the three-day event will bring together the management of cybercrime divisions from around the world to further strengthen cooperation, including with partners from the private industry, NGOs, CERTs and academia.
27 – 29 September 2017, The Hague, Netherlands
This joint initiative, first held in 2013, alternates every year between Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) in The Hague and the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation in Singapore.
This year, the programme will focus on the following topics:
- Cybercrime threats in 2017
- Financial aspects of cybercrime
- Current and emerging challenges (including ransomware, IoT, decryption and anonymisation)
- Internet governance
- Darknet market sites
The Europol-INTERPOL Cybercrime Conference is part of the Cyber Security Week 2017 which will take place from 25 to 29 September in The Hague.
