Media invitation for 46th INTERPOL European Regional Conference in Ireland

LYON, France – Senior law enforcement officials from across Europe will gather in Dublin, Ireland from 16 - 18 May 2018 for the 46th INTERPOL European Regional Conference.

Security concerns in Europe including terrorism, cybercrime and organized crime are key issues on the agenda.

The opening ceremony and speeches of high-ranking officials from Ireland and INTERPOL on the morning of Wednesday 16 May will be open to the media.

A press conference will be held immediately following the opening ceremony, in which senior Irish and INTERPOL officials will participate.

While the remainder of the conference will be closed to the media, there will be opportunities for interviews with specialist officers from INTERPOL.

Information on the conference will be made available on the INTERPOL website www.interpol.int, in addition to photos and opening speeches.

Journalists attending the opening ceremony must bring valid identity documents to the venue.
