Theft of three paintings by Brueghel from private home in Belgium

As part of an aggravated theft on 26 January 2012, unknown offenders stole from a private residence in La Hulpe, Belgium three master paintings by Flemish artist Jan Brueghel the Elder, also known as Velvet Brueghel.

The paintings depict landscapes with figures.

Anyone with information about the theft and the whereabouts of the stolen paintings is asked to contact the INTERPOL National Central Bureau in Brussels (Ref. FGP-DBJ-ART/22290) and the INTERPOL General Secretariat (Ref. 2012/10653).
