Media invitation to 23rd INTERPOL Asian Regional Conference in Nepal

LYON, France – Senior law enforcement officials from across Asia will gather in Kathmandu, Nepal from 18 – 20 January 2017 for the 23rd INTERPOL Asian Regional Conference.

The conference will focus on a range of international law enforcement issues, including:

  • Terrorism
  • Environmental security
  • Human Trafficking
  • Border security
  • Cybercrime

The opening ceremony and speeches by senior officials from Nepal and INTERPOL will be open to the media on the morning of Wednesday 18 January and will be immediately followed by a press conference.

While the rest of the regional conference will be closed to the media, there will be opportunities for interviews with specialist officers from INTERPOL.
