INTERPOL and Thai Police chiefs meet on cooperation

BANGKOK, Thailand – International law enforcement cooperation was the focus of a meeting between INTERPOL Secretary General Jürgen Stock and the Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai police, Police General Chakthip Chaichinda.

During his visit to Bangkok, Secretary General Stock visited INTERPOL’s Liaison Office for Asia and the South Pacific, as well as its National Central Bureau (NCB), where he met with Head of NCB Apichat Suriboonya.

INTERPOL’s Liaison Office in Bangkok plays a strategic role in facilitating and enhancing international law enforcement cooperation in Asia and the South Pacific, and it coordinates and implements INTERPOL activities in the region.
