St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Commissioner recognizes value of INTERPOL travel document for rapid response capability

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent and the Grenadines – Commissioner of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Police, Keith Miller has voiced his support for visa waiver status for INTERPOL travel document holders to boost regional and international police co-operation.

In a meeting with INTERPOL Secretary General Ronald K. Noble, Commissioner Miller recognised the value of ensuring that any required international police support from INTERPOL could be deployed immediately.

During his first mission to St Vincent and the Grenadines, Secretary General Noble also discussed other crime areas with the Commissioner where INTERPOL can provide added support regionally and internationally to national police, including enhanced access to INTERPOL’s global databases.

The backing by Commissioner Miller comes just days after Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas agreed to take immediate steps for his country to accord special visa status to INTERPOL travel document holders.
