INTERPOL-Europol Cybercrime Conference 2014

1 October 2014 - 3 October 2014 - Singapore

The 2nd INTERPOL-Europol Cybercrime Conference was hosted by the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation in Singapore.

Under the theme “Cybercrime Investigations: The Full Cycle”, this three-day event brought together representatives from law enforcement, private sector, academia and international organizations from across the world. They discussed cybercrime investigations and their latest techniques with a view to enhancing cooperation on cybercrime.

The conference was structured around different stages of a cybercrime investigation that are common to most justice systems:

  • Prevention and detection;
  • Investigation: techniques, search and seizure, forensics;
  • Prosecution and trial.

The conference is an innovative joint initiative, hosted alternately by the European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) in The Hague and the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation in Singapore.
