La Police fédérale belge


La police belge est une police intégrée, structurée à deux niveaux : le niveau fédéral (police fédérale) et le niveau local (196 zones de police locale).

La Police fédérale est dirigée par le Commissaire général et est composée :

  • des directions et services du Commissariat général ;
  • de trois directions générales (la Direction générale de la Police administrative(DGA), la Direction générale de la Police judiciaire (DGJ) et la Direction générale de la gestion des ressources et de l’information (DGR), qui comprennent chacune des directions et services centraux à Bruxelles) ;
  • de directions et services déconcentrés dans les arrondissements.

Les directions et services du Commissariat général sont les suivants :

  • Cabinet de la commissaire générale (CG)
  • La Direction de la communication (CGC)
  • La Direction de la Coopération policière internationale (CGI) ;
  • Les Directions de coordination et d’appui (DCA) ;
  • La direction générale de la police judiciaire et les 14 directions judiciaires déconcentrées (PJF).

INTERPOL Bruxelles

La Direction de la coopération policière internationale est chargée de la gestion de l’information et de la communication policière opérationnelle nationale et internationale.

INTERPOL Bruxelles est intégré dans cette Direction, qui assure, entre autres, l’organisation et la gestion du point de contact national auquel participent également les Directions générales de la Police administrative et de la Police judiciaire. Ce point de contact est chargé d’organiser les relations opérationnelles de la coopération policière internationale et assume le rôle d’interface opérationnelle entre les organisations et les services de police belges et internationaux chargés de la coopération policière internationale.

Elle coordonne les aspects opérationnels de la coopération policière internationale, y compris :

  • L’entretien de contacts internationaux directs de nature opérationnelle avec les services de polices étrangers par l’intermédiaire de l’Organisation internationale de police criminelle (INTERPOL) ;
  • La fonction de point de contact opérationnel central dans le contexte des rapports multilatéraux de coopération ou des organisations internationales en matière de coopération policière ;
  • La gestion opérationnelle et la diffusion de signalements internationaux, notamment dans les structures et les systèmes qui ont été mis en place à cet effet de manière multilatérale ;
  • La fonction de point de contact opérationnel pour les officiers de liaison étrangers en Belgique ;
  • La fonction de point de contact opérationnel pour les représentants des services de police belges à l’étranger ;
  • Le suivi et l’appui opérationnel des points de contact opérationnels ainsi que la gestion opérationnelle des Centres communs police et douane (CCPD), qui ont une mission d’échange d’information dans la région frontalière.

INTERPOL Bruxelles fonctionne de manière intégrée avec les autres organes de coopération policière internationale (SIRENE, Unité nationale EUROPOL). Ce service intégré comprend deux sections, à savoir:

  • la permanence ‘SPOC’ : le point de contact unique pour la coopération policière internationale impliquant la police belge, opérationnel 24/24 ;
  • le ‘SPOC Back Office’, le point de contact unique pour les signalements internationaux (alertes) et les échanges d’informations policières.
