1st INTERPOL Digital Security Research Seminar

17-20 February 2014, Tokyo, Japan

Technology evolves at an astounding speed with cybercriminals quickly adopting technology and adapting their modus operandi to take advantage of changes. In order to anticipate developments in cybercrime and proactively counter them, it is essential for the law enforcement community to engage in research and study future trends.

The INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) works closely with research and development experts to identify potential new cyber issues and to empower national law enforcement authorities to develop appropriate responses.

The 1st INTERPOL Digital Security Research seminar brought together experts from the private sector and academia in order to address cybersecurity issues and technology responses to cybercrime, integrating both physical and digital technologies.
