INTERPOL strongly condemns Burkina Faso terror attack

LYON, France – INTERPOL Secretary General Jürgen Stock has condemned the deadly terrorist attack in Burkina Faso and offered the world police body’s full assistance to the national authorities.

“On behalf of the world police community, INTERPOL condemns this cowardly attack in the strongest terms.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the victims, and INTERPOL will provide all support necessary to the Burkina Faso authorities as they investigate this tragic incident,” said Secretary General Stock.

INTERPOL’s global policing capabilities include nominal, fingerprint and DNA databases as well as enhanced border security capabilities which support the more effective tracking and tracing of suspected terrorists around the globe.
