The Symposium brings together top-level officials from national, regional and international entities who are responsible for law enforcement capacity building, training and development initiatives in their respective countries.

This year’s programme includes the following topics:

  • New methodologies for implementing next-generation technology in law enforcement training;
  • Streamlining the communication cycle between law enforcement and academia;
  • Adapting current training methodologies to respond to new modus operandi including cybercrime, terrorism and financial crime;
  • Optimizing resources in a world of increasing austerity, drawing on international cooperation;
  • The latest theories in training quality assurance.

This conference is a platform for senior officials in law enforcement and academia from around the world to exchange their insights, lessons learned and best practices regarding the development and implementation of law enforcement training initiatives. The discussions will help equip delegates with the knowledge and networks to improve training efforts in their organizations.

We look forward to welcoming a large number of participants from all regions of the world. Depending on the needs of participants, simultaneous interpretation may be provided in some or all of our official languages (English, French, Spanish and Arabic).
