Liechtenstein’s National Police is the country’s single police force. It is made up of more than 100 men and women for a population of 37,000, and consists of three divisions:

  • Executive Support Division;
  • Security & Traffic Division;
  • Crime Investigation Division.


The INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) for Liechtenstein is part of the International Police Cooperation (IPC) unit, a department of the Executive Support Division.

INTERPOL Vaduz and the IPC are located in the National Police building complex.

With a staff of seven, the IPC unit operates as the national hub for exchanging information between police forces and authorities worldwide.  It is the single point of contact for international police cooperation involving Liechtenstein.
