International partners

FAQs

Why does INTERPOL form partnerships?

At INTERPOL, we believe that partnerships with other organizations in the public and private sectors are essential in order to tackle challenges in common areas.

Transnational crime cannot be countered by the law enforcement community in isolation. By engaging in partnerships across sectors, we can share expertise, technology and resources, and so strengthen our joint response.

What is an INTERPOL partner?

An INTERPOL partner is a private or public entity which shares similar goals with the Organization and makes a contribution (either in-kind or monetary) to INTERPOL.

How can I become an INTERPOL partner?

We welcome enquiries from potential partners. If you are interested in working with us, please fill in the contact form. Our International Partnership Development Unit will then contact you to discuss the possibilities.

How can I fund an INTERPOL project?

Funding from external organizations supports different types of activities in line with INTERPOL’s strategic and corporate priorities:

Strategic priorities

  • Secure global police information system
  • 24/7 support to policing and law enforcement
  • Innovation, capacity building and research
  • Assisting in the identification of crimes and criminals

Corporate priorities

  • Ensure organizational health and sustainability
  • Consolidate the institutional framework

Read more about the processes surrounding external funding and fill in the contact form to register your interest in funding a project.

What is the difference between being a partner and a supplier to INTERPOL?

Whilst a partner makes a contribution, an INTERPOL supplier is procured by the Organization to supply goods or services. To find out more information about becoming an INTERPOL supplier, please see the Calls for tender page.

What is an INTERPOL exhibitor?

INTERPOL holds several events where relevant companies and organizations can showcase their latest products and technologies. The largest event attended by exhibitors is the annual INTERPOL General Assembly.

The INTERPOL General Assembly is a unique event which provides an excellent platform for the law enforcement community and the public and private sector to discuss best practices and knowledge. Over the past 15 years, INTERPOL’s annual exhibition has proven to be extremely successful.

If you would like to support INTERPOL’s activities, please fill in the contact form.
