LYON, France – A Kenyan national suspected of leading an international ivory smuggling syndicate has been arrested in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania after he was targeted by an INTERPOL operation focusing on individuals wanted for environmental crimes.

LYON (Francia) – Más de 27,5 toneladas de drogas decomisadas ha sido el resultado de la operación LIONFISH II, una iniciativa dirigida por INTERPOL contra el tráfico de drogas y de armas ¬de fuego en América Central y el Caribe a cargo de grupos de delincuencia organizada. Entre las drogas intervenidas había cocaína, cannabis y heroína; el alijo de cocaína por sí solo tenía un valor de casi 1 300 millones de dólares estadounidenses.
