Media invitation 22nd Americas Regional Conference in Curaçao
LYON, France – Senior law enforcement officials from throughout the Americas will gather in Willemsted, Curaçao from 1 – 3 July 2013 for the 22nd INTERPOL Americas Regional Conference.
The conference will focus on a range of international crime issues, including:
- drugs trafficking
- transnational criminal organizations
- human trafficking and people smuggling
The opening ceremony and speeches by senior INTERPOL and Curaçao officials will be open to the media on the morning of Monday 1 July and will be immediately followed by a press conference.
While the rest of the regional conference will be closed to the media, there will be opportunities for interviews with specialist officers from INTERPOL. Press releases will be made available on the INTERPOL website www.interpol.int in addition to opening speeches.
