7th International DNA Users’ Conference for Investigative Officers

This biennial conference brings together police officers, law enforcement representatives, policy makers and DNA experts from INTERPOL member countries to discuss the applications of DNA in criminal investigations.
This year’s agenda will include the following topics:
- New DNA technologies to enhance police operations, including a session on Rapid DNA technology;
- DNA in national police strategies;
- DNA databases, legislation and international exchange;
- Missing persons investigations and disaster victim identification.
For the presentations, simultaneous interpretation is provided in Arabic, English, French and Spanish.
The conference will begin at 09.00 on 6 November and finish at 13.00 on 8 November.
The INTERPOL DNA Unit coordinates this conference with the assistance of the INTERPOL DNA Monitoring Expert Group.
