Twice a year, we publish a poster showing those works of art most wanted by INTERPOL.

Issued every June and December, the poster intensifies the search for works that have been stolen or have disappeared during the previous six months.

It is a global tool that serves to raise awareness worldwide as the poster is distributed via all INTERPOL National Central Bureaus to national law enforcement agencies, including customs.

Since the publication of the first poster in June 1972, a total of 257 objects have been highlighted, of which 51 have been located around the world. With a success rate of around 20 per cent, the value of the poster is clear.

Below are the two most recent posters published.
