ICOM Red Lists
The Red Lists are produced by the International Council of Museums (ICOM). They classify the endangered categories of archaeological objects or works of art in the most vulnerable areas of the world, in order to prevent them from being sold or illegally exported.
These tools are transmitted to the police and customs officials worldwide through INTERPOL and the World Customs Organization. They are also distributed to museums, auction houses and art dealers.
