Paris, France

The International IP Crime Investigators College (IIPCIC) celebrated the certification of some 300 trainees and instructors from the Chile Police Academy for successfully completing the 14 online core modules of this training tool.

The ceremony included presentations highlighting the capacity building and operational activities of INTERPOL’s Trafficking in Illicit Goods and Counterfeiting programme, charting the course for combating transnational organized intellectual property crime in the future.

The event also included input from INTERPOL’s Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation unit.

IIPCIC courses are available at no cost for all law enforcement officials and currently have some 6,000 users worldwide. The 14 core modules, comprising seven introductory and seven intermediate modules are available in Arabic, English, French, Spanish and Mandarin.
