It will serve as a catalyst to identify, develop and drive security initiatives for real world security situations across four key domains: cybersecurity, safe cities, border management and supply chain security.

Visit of Ireland’s Minister for Justice and Equality
Ireland’s Minister for Justice and Equality, Frances Fitzgerald accompanied by Ambassador of Ireland to Singapore, Geoffrey Keating met with Executive Director Noboru Nakatani and other senior officials during a tour of the IGCI’s facilities.
In addition to visiting the Cyber Fusion Center and the Digital Forensic Laboratory, Minister Fitzgerald and Ambassador Keating were also provided with an overview of INTERPOL’s Capacity Building and training activities.

Visit of Mr Tomonori Nishimura, Executive Vice President of NEC Corporation, Japan
Senior officials from the NEC Corporation, a strategic partner of INTERPOL, visited the IGCI to discuss the way two organization can increase further collaboration with Executive Director Mr Noboru Nakatani. NEC corporation officials were briefed on current progress of IGCI activities and also visited the IGCI’s Cyber Fusion Centre and Digital Forensics Laboratory.

Visit of Korea’s Ambassador

Korea’s Ambassador to Singapore, Suh Chung-Ha, visited the IGCI where he met with Executive Director Noboru Nakatani and other senior officials to discuss areas for future collaboration. The Ambassador was briefed on INTERPOL’s operational activities against cybercrime, and also visited the IGCI’s Cyber Fusion Centre and Digital Forensics Laboratory.

Visit of Japan’s Ambassador
Singapore
Japan’s Ambassador to Singapore, Haruhisa Takeuchi visited the IGCI where he met with Executive Director Noboru Nakatani and other senior officials.
The Ambassador was briefed on INTERPOL’s operational activities in the areas of cybercrime and visited the Cyber Fusion Centre which provides real-time monitoring and analysis of malicious internet activity, which the Organization shares with its 190 member countries to assist them investigate digital crimes.

Visit of Dr Steve Crocker, ICANN Chairman
Singapore
Dr Steve Crocker, Chairman of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), visited the IGCI and discussed cooperation between ICANN and INTERPOL with Mr Noboru Nakatani. Dr Crocker was briefed on INTERPOL’s operational activities during his visit, which also included discussions on law enforcement participation in ICANN meetings.

Visit of Mr David Ko, Chief Executive of the Cyber Security Agency
Singapore
Senior officials from the Cyber Security Agency (CSA) of Singapore visited the IGCI to examine areas in which the two organizations can collaborate in the future. During the visit, the CSA officials were briefed on current IGCI activities in the areas of cybercrime – including the role of the INTERPOL Digital Crime Centre – and capacity building and training.

Visit of Andrew Colvin, Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police
Singapore
Australian Federal Police Commissioner Andrew Colvin met with senior officials at the IGCI where he was updated on INTERPOL’s activities in combating cybercrime. Commissioner Colvin also visited the Cyber Fusion Centre which provides real-time monitoring and analysis of malicious internet activity, which enables the Organization to share intelligence and expertise with its 190 member countries to assist them investigate digital crimes.

Visit of of Mr Yoshihisa Endo, Executive Director of ReCAAP-ISC
Singapore
Mr Yoshihisa Endo, Executive Director of the Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia –Information Sharing Centre (ReCAAP-ISC) visited the IGCI to discuss possible collaboration between the two organizations. Mr Endo was welcomed by Mr Noboru Nakatani and briefed by IGCI senior staff on current capacity building and cybercrime issues.
