    Visit of Dr Steve Crocker, ICANN Chairman
    Singapore
    Dr Steve Crocker, Chairman of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), visited the IGCI and discussed cooperation between ICANN and INTERPOL with Mr Noboru Nakatani. Dr Crocker was briefed on INTERPOL’s operational activities during his visit, which also included discussions on law enforcement participation in ICANN meetings.

    Visit of Mr David Ko, Chief Executive of the Cyber Security Agency
    Singapore
    Senior officials from the Cyber Security Agency (CSA) of Singapore visited the IGCI to examine areas in which the two organizations can collaborate in the future. During the visit, the CSA officials were briefed on current IGCI activities in the areas of cybercrime – including the role of the INTERPOL Digital Crime Centre – and capacity building and training.

    Visit of Andrew Colvin, Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police
    Singapore
    Australian Federal Police Commissioner Andrew Colvin met with senior officials at the IGCI where he was updated on INTERPOL’s activities in combating cybercrime. Commissioner Colvin also visited the Cyber Fusion Centre which provides real-time monitoring and analysis of malicious internet activity, which enables the Organization to share intelligence and expertise with its 190 member countries to assist them investigate digital crimes.

    Visit of of Mr Yoshihisa Endo, Executive Director of ReCAAP-ISC
    Singapore
    Mr Yoshihisa Endo, Executive Director of the Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia –Information Sharing Centre (ReCAAP-ISC) visited the IGCI to discuss possible collaboration between the two organizations. Mr Endo was welcomed by Mr Noboru Nakatani and briefed by IGCI senior staff on current capacity building and cybercrime issues.

    Visit of of Mr Hiroshi ITO, President of SECOM Co. Ltd., Japan
    Singapore
    Senior officials from the private security company SECOM visited the IGCI to discuss ways the two organizations can increase their collaboration. During the visit, the SECOM officials discussed their expertise in the area of cybersecurity and their ongoing collaboration with the Japan Cybercrime Control Center and the National Police Agency of Japan.

    Visit of of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco 
    Singapore
    HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco visited the IGCI to see the cutting-edge facilities which assist INTERPOL's 190 member countries in combating cybercrime. The Prince toured the Cyber Fusion Centre where he was briefed on the IGCI’s activities and objectives by Executive Director Noboru Nakatani.

    Visit of H.E. TEO Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister, Singapore
    Singapore
    H.E. TEO Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs, Singapore, paid a courtesy visit to the IGCI premises, accompanied by a delegation of officials from Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs and the Singapore Police Force.
    INTERPOL officials gave the Deputy Prime Minister a tour of the Cyber Fusion Centre and briefed him on the IGCI’s activities and objectives. The Minister also took part in the 83rd session of the INTERPOL General Assembly, held in Monaco from 3 to 7 November.

    INTERPOL-Europol Cybercrime Conference 2014
    Singapore
    Under the theme “Cybercrime Investigations: The Full Cycle”, this three-day event brought together representatives from law enforcement, private sector, academia and international organizations from across the world. They discussed cybercrime investigations and their latest techniques with a view to enhancing cooperation on cybercrime.

    Handover ceremony of the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation

    In this symbolic ceremony, the Singaporean government gave INTERPOL the keys to the IGCI building. The official opening of the IGCI will be celebrated in April 2015 with an inauguration ceremony.
