Parliamentary Ombudsman
The “Ombudsman” is appointed by the Supreme Assembly of Uzbekistan (Oliv Mailis) to ensure that human rights and freedom are respected throughout the country at all times.
INTERPOL Tashkent
The INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) for Uzbekistan facilitates cross-border police cooperation, and supports and assists organizations, authorities and agencies whose mission is to prevent or combat crime at international level. INTERPOL Tashkent is part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
