Interpol - General Assembly 73rd Session - Cancún, 5 - 8 October 2004

The ICPO-Interpol General Assembly, meeting in Cancún from 5 to 8 October 2004 at its 73rd session:

NOTING THE CONTENTS of the application for membership dated 10 November 2003 submitted on behalf of Tajikistan by its Minister for Foreign Affairs,

DEEMING that the necessary conditions for membership stipulated under Article 4 of Interpol's Constitution have been met,

HAVING HEARD, furthermore, the oral presentation by the Tajikistan representative at the current session,

ACCEPTS the application for membership submitted by Tajikistan and DECIDES that Tajikistan shall be a Member of the Organization as from the current General Assembly session.
