Missing childern statistics of the years 1997 and 1998.

According to the Children and Young Persons Act, chapter 90 of the Penal Code :

  • A  " child " is defined as a person under the age of fourteen years.
  • A " young person " is defined as a person who has attained the age of fourteen years and is under the age of eighteen years.

The statistics listed below encompasses both a child and a young person.

All of the children were found in good health except the following :

  • In 1997 a twelve years old male went missing and his body was later found.
  • In 1998 two females one sixteen years old and the other eight years old were both found dead on separate occasions.
