  NATO - Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre

The Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC) created in 1998 serves as the focal point to coordinate disaster relief efforts of the 46 Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) nations for natural or technological disasters occurring within the EAPC geographical area. EADRCC has also been tasked by the Council to coordinate international assistance from EAPC countries and to help deal with the consequences of terrorist attacks.

The Commission's aim is to emphasize international cooperation to reduce the proliferation of the WMD. Their task is to investigate on nuclear, biological, chemical and radiological weapons, on the means of delivering them, as well as on the possible links between these issues and terrorists.

The International Health Regulations (IHR) are an international legal instrument which is legally binding on WHO Member States who have not rejected them and on all Non-Member States of WHO that have agreed to be bound by them. The purpose of the IHR adopted in 1969 (IHR(1969)) is to ensure maximum security against the international spread of diseases with a minimum interference with world traffic. In particular, it contains plans and procedures about verification and assessment of notified diseases and about information-sharing during unexpected or unusual public health events (article 7) whether they occur on a deliberate or natural mean.

This department of WHO is dedicated to preparedness and response to the deliberate epidemics. It contains relevant information on diseases and on biological agents.
  World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) Disease Emergency Preparedness

The site contains information on national emergency preparedness in relation to animal diseases. It also contains relevant information on disease simulation exercises.
