Djibouti Police Chief visits INTERPOL General Secretariat headquarters

LYON, France – The Director General of Djibouti National Police, Colonel Abdillahi Abdi Farah was updated on INTERPOL’s global tools and services during a visit to the world police body’s headquarters today.

Colonel Farah and his delegation which included the Prosecutor General, Souleiman Djama, Director of Public Security Lieutenant, Colonel Omar Hassan and Head of the National Central Bureau in Djibouti Captain, Mahamoud Madhi Omar met with Executive Director of Police Services, Jean-Michel Louboutin and other senior INTERPOL officials.

In addition to briefings on INTERPOL’s current activities to support member countries in combating all forms of crime including terrorism and maritime piracy, the visitors were also given an overview of the Organization’s Capacity Building and Training initiatives and toured the 24-hour Command and Coordination Centre.
