Policía Nacional del Paraguay

La Policía Nacional del Paraguay es una institución organizada, permanente, vertical y jerárquicamente dependiente del Poder Ejecutivo, cuya Secretaría del Estado es el Ministerio del Interior, encargado de la seguridad interna de la Nación.

INTERPOL Asunción

La Oficina Central Nacional (OCN) de INTERPOL en Paraguay se encarga de cumplir y hacer cumplir las disposiciones de las autoridades policiales del país y de intercambiar información con otros países miembros de INTERPOL a fin de:

  • potenciar la prevención e investigación de la delincuencia de derecho común;
  • localizar e investigar a personas sospechosas;
  • ejecutar las órdenes de captura con fines de extradición;
  • luchar contra la delincuencia a escala nacional e internacional;
  • cumplir con las normas de calidad de servicio de INTERPOL;
  • intercambiar información a escala nacional e internacional;
  • cooperar con instituciones similares en la prevención e investigación de la delincuencia, y en la detención de prófugos.

  • robo de vehículos;
  • bioterrorismo;
  • robo de bienes culturales;
  • trata de seres humanos;
  • delitos contra la propiedad intelectual;
  • narcotráfico y desvío de precursores químicos;
  • búsqueda de prófugos;
  • pornografía infantil.
